IRI values the security of all users throughout its system. Although no transmission via the Internet is 100% secure, IRI has taken measures to ensure the security of all information and transactions transmitted or collected from its secure members only website, www.myIRIonline.org.
www.myIRIonline.org maintains an active security certificate through the services of GoDaddy, which has appeared on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list five years in a row and on Inc. magazine's Inc. 500/5000 list seven years running. IRI employs GoDaddy Extended Validation Secure Socket Layer (EV SSL) technology to encrypt all data on www.myIRIonline.org with at least 256-bit encryption, full organization authentication and daily malware scanning of www.myIRIonline.org.
In addition, all financial transactions conducted on www.myIRIonline.org are processed using PayFlow Pro administered by PayPal through an integration with IRI. All transactions occur over secure socket layer (SSL) connections.
Lastly, all transactions on www.myIRIonline.org comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Requirements and Security Assessment Procedures. “The PCI DSS is a multifaceted security standard that includes requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures. From time to time, we may change this Privacy Statement as we may update and improve our service. Accordingly, please review the Statement periodically. IRI is committed to protecting the privacy of users of the Network. IRI is the sole owner of the information collected on the Network.
What Information Does IRI Collect?
You do not need to provide any personally identifiable information to browse or read pages in the Network, excluding the members only website located at www.myIRIonline.org. IRI obtains membership contact and identification information from third party sources, our members companies, and individuals browsing the Network including:
- Contact information such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number, title , organization, and affiliation;
- Unique identifiers such as user name, account number and password;
- IRI also collects information from users of the Network who register for IRI conferences or meetings or make purchases of IRI brochures, pamphlets, books, and studies and who voluntarily provide contact and credit card information for such purposes. Credit card information is collected for billing purposes only and will not otherwise be disclosed, unless required by law;
- IRI will collect and store certain information automatically that does not identify you personally. This information consists of the Internet Domain and Internet Protocol (IP address) of the computer you are using, the browser software and operating system you used, the date and time you accessed the website, the pages visited and documents accessed within the website. We use this information to measure the number of visitors to different sections of the website, make the Network more useful to visitors, fulfill your order, respond to customer service requests, and to improve the quality of the information and materials available on the website.
IRI sends regular newsletters and emails to all of our members. Websites located in the Network may contain links to other websites as a convenience to users. IRI is not responsible for the privacy practices, security or content of websites outside of the Network. Any information you submit to these websites is governed by their security and privacy statements.
Sharing of Information
IRI will not share or sell your personal information with unaffiliated parties including, your contact information, email address or preferences, except:
- As required by law or in response to a government request;
- When it is believed, in good faith, that such disclosure protects the rights of IRI or the safety of others.
Online Merchandise Refund Policy
On occasion, technical problems may delay or prevent delivery of your Product. Your exclusive and sole remedy with respect to Product that is not delivered within a reasonable period will be either replacement of such Product, or refund of the price paid for such Product, as determined by IRI. Otherwise, no refunds are available.
Online Merchandise Prices
The IRI Online Store (Marketplace) endeavors to offer you competitive prices on current selections. Your total price will include the price of the product plus any applicable shipping and handling (in effect on the day of purchase). IRI provides the information on the Network as a benefit to its members and the public. While IRI makes every effort to present accurate and reliable information on the Network, it does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and use of such information is at the recipient's own risk.
